When I met Ashmore she had a huge smile on her face and was
cracking jokes immediately. Ashmore has been riding for nearly 10 years
and an extremely confident rider. Not only is she a total fox but will
give you the shirt off her back. I was eager to do a desert shoot and she was all in. We
meet in Borrego Springs and then drove another 30 miles to the Salton Sea, the end of
the world. The Salton Sea was a location I had always wanted to visit for its
deserted hotels, homes and ghost towns. Ashmore and I spotted this cool abandoned hotel
with a pool in the back. It was 107 degrees when we got out there so we were eager to
shoot and get the hell out of dodge. A couple smoke bombs later and these are
the shots we came up with.
